Hydraulic hose fittings and hose ends
The largest part of what we ship. Hose ends and ferrules, matched to the hose you actually run, in whichever thread family your machines use.
What we supply
| Type | Description | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| One-piece hose end | Hose end and ferrule made as a single swaged unit | Mainstream assembly work; lowest part count |
| Two-piece hose end | Separate insert and ferrule, crimped together | Spiral hose, larger sizes, higher impulse duty |
| Interlock ferrule | Ferrule with an internal interlocking ring | 4-spiral and 6-spiral hose where single-piece cannot hold |
| Reusable hose end | Screwed onto the hose, no crimper required | Field repair, very low volumes |
| BSP / JIS hose ends | Bonded-washer or O-ring sealed parallel thread ends | European and Japanese machinery |
| Banjo and banjo bolt | Ring-shaped end with a hollow bolt | Confined spaces where a straight end will not fit |
| Flange hose end | SAE J518 Code 61 / Code 62 flange head | High flow and high pressure on large machines |
| Swivel and elbow ends | 45° / 90° / 90° long-drop, with or without swivel nut | Routing where orientation has to be adjustable at assembly |
Thread families available
JIC 37° (SAE J514) · ORFS (SAE J1453) · SAE O-ring boss (SAE J1926) · BSPP (ISO 228-1) · BSPT (ISO 7-1) · NPT / NPTF · Metric 24° cone (DIN 2353 / ISO 8434-1) · JIS. Sizes from -04 through -32, with the full range in the fitting size chart.
Materials and coatings
| Material | Coating | Where it is the right answer |
|---|---|---|
| Carbon steel (usually 45# or equivalent) | Zinc plating (clear or yellow) | Standard mobile hydraulic duty; best cost |
| Carbon steel | Zinc-nickel, or thicker zinc for extended salt spray | Coastal, road salt, offshore exposure |
| 316 stainless | None (passivated) | Chemical, food-adjacent, marine, aggressive fluids |
| Brass | None | Air, water, low-pressure instrumentation |
What to put on your enquiry
- Thread family and size at each end, plus the dash size
- End orientation and angle (straight, 45°, 90°, long drop)
- Hose construction it is crimped onto (SAE 100R1AT / R2AT / R12 etc.)
- Material and coating
- Quantity, and whether you buy annually or per project
- Whether you need the crimp specification and crimp records
If you do not have specifications: send one sample or a photo with
measurements. We will return a specification sheet and a part number you can re-order against — this is the
fastest way to convert a drawer of unlabelled fittings into a re-orderable catalogue.
